Annual meeting of Krskopolje pig breeders

On the 4th of March 2017, annual meeting of Krskopolje pig breeders (DKP; a TP of partner KGZS-NM) was organised at the farm of Andrej Kastelic in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. At this event, TREASURE coordinator prof. dr. Marjeta Čandek-Potokar presented the on-going activities of TREASURE in particular those related to Krskopolje pig and first results of the experiment performed on Krskopolje breed within WP2. Discussion about WP5 activities was also held, in particular related to training school organised by partner SSICA, trademark development (the representative of DKP for the Operational Committee was elected) and decision was taken to organise a study visit of Krskoplje pig breeders to breeders of Crna slavonska in Croatia and Mangulica in Serbia.
