Open Day for Treasure

During the Open Day in Evora that will take place on 7th September 2016, the University of Évora (UEVORA) in partnership with the National Association of Alentejo Pig Breeders (ANCPA) will present the Horizon2020 project TREASURE and its role during the 5 years action. This contribution is focused on several areas of research with emphasis on gene and production systems such as the work conducted by UEVORA about the potential of cross between pigs of the Alentejo breed and Bísara race. The event aims at presenting and discussing this study with all stakeholders, with particular emphasis on those directly involved in these production ranks (farmers, processors, commercial agents, etc.).
